The greens are really nice, but the fairways and rough need help. Plus the clubhouse is really just a barn. It's not a place you come to early or stick around. There is no range. The layout is fine, and there are a few cool views. But I'd rather play at Gateway if I'm on this side of the river.
I look at this course and think this is a piece of cake but the course always beats me up love the layout small clubhouse so not alot to do but golf and go here. A must play for anyone looking for good rates and decent course
This course is a bit off the beaten path. I have been playing here for 4 years and it has gotten better each year. The back nine offers some beautiful view from its higher elevations. I am a poor player but even I can play this course and enjoy it as much as my far better companions. Check it out once and you will go back.
Played there twice last week. Course was in good shape, especially considering the rainy spring and blistering hot summer we had. I liked the greens. Not too difficult for this bogey golfer, but challenging enough. The tee boxes are a bit thick so bring your longer tees. Scorecard only shows 6,000 yards, but it plays a bit longer than that to me. Nice folks in the clubhouse. Cart girls on the course seen frequently. Overall a very nice experience. I wish it had a meeting room to hold a large tourney. No dark beers at the bar.
