I planned a Surprise Birthday Party for P, with dinner and dancing. About 50 guests. It was wonderful. Mike Meckes and the staff were terrific. Very easy to arrange. The buffet dinner was very good. Service was attentive, not intrusive. Even the house wines were enjoyed. A very nice large room with beamed ceiling and large fireplace. All was perfect.
We danced the night away. DJ from Party Pleasers. Everyone said it was great. Event of the year and long to be remembered.
I thought the cost really quite reasonable.

I can't say anything for the golf course, as I've never hit the links at Clovernook (it looks pretty though, so that should be noted), but this is a country club, and there are more amenities offered than just the course.
Its North College Hill location isn't what one would consider country club friendly, but the long lane from Galbraith Road transports its visitors from sketch neighborhood to a very nice, yet unpretentious private club.
On a few different occasions, I've gone to Clovernook's clubhouse for rehearsal dinners. The food served for such events is above average; though not particularly memorable, it's good enough. The servers are always friendly and the room is the perfect size to accommodate a group up to 50 without seeming cramped.
The pool area is great; very nice and good for kids as well. There is a full-service snack bar that is available to all patrons. The restrooms and dressing areas are nice and well-kept also.
I'm not what one would call a country club kind of girl, but I quite enjoy everything that's offered at Clovernook CC.
