I used to be a member here (10+ years--no longer, though!). The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the frequent worker strikes. Pay your peeps, CCC!
1. Hill Course: As the name indicates, there are A LOT of hills on this course. Even walking 9 holes on the hill will wind you, but it's challenging and a lot of fun.
2. Valley Course: I LOVE the valley! Long fairways, flat, and very easy to walk.
3. Driving Range: Always well maintained. Sometimes there are deer and/or wild turkey hanging out at the top, so watch out!
As a private country club, I remember the maintenance as superb; hopefully, things have remained that way.
-The pool is great, but I just remember the food being awesome. Maybe it was from all that swimming!
-This was definitely over 10 years ago, but I remember getting lessons from the tennis pro who was arrested for several counts of child molestation a few years ago. Fortunately, I was not a victim. Unfortunately, his lessons never converted me into a tennis lover.
-Awesome buffets where the chefs make you pasta to order.
-Pretty much anything from the grill was delicious. For some reason, I remember getting the cold tuna sandwich to eat while playing the valley pretty often, but I'm sure it wasn't all too amazing (probably just consistently good).
This place is just gorgeous! The scenery is amazing! The decor is picture perfect and fancy! The chandeliers are gorgeous. The ambiance is just overall, flawless.
Beautiful location, great architecture, overlooking rolling green golf hills. I came here for the Yelp Karma Ball and had a very relaxing and nice time. This wouldn't be my first choice as a wedding reception venue just because it's not my style, and the views are often obstructed, but it is definitely a very nice place to host a reception or other special event.
This place is lovely. The ballroom is large, the view is decent and it has a great exterior. I'd definitely hold events here if I want to go to the middle of pleasanton.
First of all the views I have to say - are amazing! I was at a yelp elite event here last weekend and it reminded me of waling into an Italian Villa. High ceilings, old style paintings and flower arrangements and a huge dance floor and elegant bar area. This would be a great place to have a wedding reception!
