Good deal for the money. The course has three nines and you can usually get out when you want. Not the greatest or most challenging course in the area but it tests your skill and they keep it in good shape. The folks who work at the course are very friendly and make you feel welcome. This is going to be my 'go to' course to keep my game sharp, lets you get in a quick nine for a reasonable price. The course has a driving range and a full pro shop and restaurant/snack bar. For a military golf course its a winner, I would definitely suggest giving it a try.
With 27 holes on Ft. Lee, this place is too convenient not to like. The prices for visitors seem really reasonable. I'm in the area for a few weeks and they offer a monthly membership at $75 and a TDY membership at $76. One dollar more for two more weeks of membership is definitely worth it.
Most of the fairways are wide enough for the golfer that has trouble off the tees and it is a very playable course for your average golfer. I've enjoyed being able to play here, I just wish that it wasn't the middle of July and that the weather was a little less cruel right now.
If you're in the area and don't have too many problems with trying to get on Ft. Lee, this course is worth checking out.
