Course is in rough shape at best but nice staff and the price is reasonable. Good place to learn!
The coarse could be a lot better for short money.
1. regulation size flags, yours are to short tough to judge distance.
2. makers on fairway for 100 and 150 yards
3. fix drainage on three off the holes.
4. snacks in the bar for after playing the first nine candy, snackbars ect.
Hole 1-2: Very Soggy. First shot is under 150 over a small pond. The street to the left takes away any beauty effect. Hole 2 is around 230 and is littered with a medium traffic street, utility poles, wires, and swamp like conditions.
Hole 3: Uphill 150 or so, again street on right. So don't miss right or you may cause damage to someone driving. The green is UNACCEPTABLE (holes, ridges, lacking maintenance) on this hole and the traps are overgrown with weeds. The hole is protected by traps and shooting over isn't a good idea with steep backdrop.
Hole 4 & 5: Most enjoyable. Apprx. 140 & 160 respectively and basically target practice. Greens in decent shape.
Hole 6 & 7: The longer holes. Hole 6 is a par 4. Woods to the right, green is slightly downhill, and is very soggy. Stay on upper portion of fairway. Hole 7 is strange. Get your drive over 220 yds or get stuck in the pond. No room to the right as slicers will hit some commercial buildings that outline the right side of the hole. This hole goes back uphill to another UNACCEPTABLE green.
Hole 8: Not bad. Downhill shot about 230 with woods to right. Street creates back obstacle so don't hit long.
Hole 9: Dog leg left. Cut over the woods with a high tee shot to hit near green or iron it out straight and then over the small pond.
Too many cars, streets, buildings, poles, wires, and weeds. The soggy and the two UNACCEPTABLE greens make this course unscorable. $12 on weekends, better than a driving range.
This course could be nice. But the owners dont care. Even though this is the course I learned on, jumping on for free and hitting 7 irons till dark...It is horrible do not play here. Go down the road into Warren and go to Windmill Hill.
This course is nothing to brag about but if you are just looking to hit the ball around and do not want to go to a range $10 is cheap.
