Briar Creek Golf Course

  3 Reviews

I've played this course many times as it's one of the cheapest around. They have really done allot over the last 10 years to take this course from a joke to a nice place to play a round. Course maintenance has improved steadily over the years, and the guys in the clubhouse couldn't be nicer, plus the prices can't be beat. If you haven't played here in a while, give it another chance I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Fun for an afternoon in the country, country club experience ? not exactly.  Yes, I had my low round of the year here, but I don't normally drive the ball 300 yds, if you can believe the markers, then I guess I did.  A few good holes mixed in with very "cushy" greens, lots of moss.  Easy to get around in a cart, a few hills, wide fairways, though not always clear in which direction they run !   Overall worth about $ 25 with cart.

My experience over the years

This course has been one of my favorites to play over the last 3 years. It holds just enough challenge to help me to strive to be better. I have not mastered this course by any means. There have been some improvements in the works for a while now. Some new tee locations and the scenic plant life have really made a nice improvement to the course. The owners have always been nice to talk with. They're both friendly and ready with answers to questions. The course in general is kept in great order. I would and have recommended this course to many of my friends. I truly believe that if you have not played this course, it would be a nice change from wherever you currently play. Enjoy!
