Currently ranked 30th in the Top 100 Courses in Wales, Borth & Ynyslas Golf Course was redesigned in 1945 by the legendary Harry Colt and is known as one of the best links courses on the Welsh Coast. A very traditional out and back links, the layout here is wonderfully simple and located almost on top of the beach with little protection from the elements. The signature hole is the 2nd, aptly named Traeth as the side of the tee drops straight onto the beach. At 454 yards, par 4, some say it is one of the hardest holes in golf with an incredibly narrow fairway and OOB on both sides. A bogey here is generally considered a good score.
