Typical goat ranch. Burned out greens made play impossible. I was informed from a disgruntled Club Member near us that this happens EVERY year. Play somewhere else.
A fair layout. A few short holes starting out. The last hole on each nine is a tough par 5.
The staff has done a good job recently keeping the course in shape. The summer has been hard, especially on the greens. Wide fairways, residential views. Playing surfaces were in good shape. Staff was great, and grill had good food.
A nice layout ruined by very poor maintenance. Some fairways are marred by weeds and washed-out areas. A sign of significantly poor maintenance is the presence of wash-outs in the bunkers to the point of sand completely missing and grass tufts growing which indicates the bunkers haven't been properly raked in months! It's too bad because the layout was interesting. Oh, the service at the bar was terrible ... I didn't mind the wait so much (it was a really hot day and I was enjoying the AC), but the barmaid's attitude was terrible. Pro Shop staff were top notch ... too bad they don't run the maintenance department!
